Coilover Decisions...

Yea soo.. i've been looking for new coilovers and i have no fuckin idea which 1 to choose...

I cant decide between:

- Tein SS
- K Sport
or the D2's

which 1 would you rather have and what are the advantages and disvantages of each one..

Just put them on my car today! I LOVE EM If i could make the font larger i would! Best bang for ya buck, almost as nice as stock suspension, but adjustable.

i like the fact that the ksport and d2's come with top mounts and you adjust them by spinning the lower part of the coilover up, so that you keep the same spring travel as opposed to the teins. so id reccomend those two, and out of those 2, the d2's, just cause theyre purple :gheylaugh:

I've heard that the D2's are likely to seize up in the winter time. I know you live up on the good side of the border so I figured I'd tell ya that.

i'm trying to decide the same thing right now too. i'm still doing my research but from what i can see the tein SS are a couple hunderd more than the other too which most likely means that they are better but i dunno. i would also appreciate any other insight on this topic

i'd go with either ksport or d2. im assuming they'll ride similarly. i'd say it's a personal preference thing. i wanted to get ksports in the near future but i've decided to go with airride. unless i decide to replace my omni's. come to think of it, i don't think i'll replace my omni's with another set when it comes to handling because they suit my driving style perfectly.

Ksports have a better spring rate than the Tein..Most guys are jumping ship from the Tein and getting K-Sport. I have no complaints from my Tein though, it aint like I'm gonna try and corner with a STi or anything, just bought it to slam the biatch.

yup thats what i dont like about the teins. the adjustable strut body design on the d2's and k sports is a major convenience. and you can slam them til your car is layed out on the ground.

i'm eventually going omni's or d2's,when i can start modding again.haven't really heard much about the k-sports.like plat said it's just to slam the fucker unless you got a cl rally car.all this adjusting you can do,who really does it?most find the one they like and leave it,so why pay for the 10000001 adjustable settings.

i like my teins. consider the Basics rather than the SS. the SS is mucho dinero.

i havent heard anything bad about the other sets, have a blast.

Dont Cusco make coilovers for Accords. research those if they do. also ive said this before, Zeal and Tanabe are always more options. but then again you dont want to complicate the situation with alot of options??

I know the Teins have the EDFC. What about the others, do they have a similar system of in-cabin damper control?
