Red face CLUTCH | Probably Re-post

The post is probably in the wrong area, and most definately a re-post. But i'm having a bad day as is (thus the reason for my thread), and dont feel like spending an hour searching.

Went out to my car this morning, the cutch has little to no resistance.
I can still start my car, but wont go into gear when the car is on.

Whats the mostly likely diagnosis and thus repair?

I had the same exact problem...Does the pedal go all the way down to the floor and sometimes not even come back up? Check your master cylinder fluid, if its low, it's most likely your slave cylinder which is a really cheap fix. Also, if you kno how to bleed the clutch line at the slave, that will work until you get the new slave cylinder part in, they're only like $30.

Have you tried pumping the clutch?? I have the same issue with my ACURA. I just replaced the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder and after 7degree weather outside I have been having to pump my clutch to get it to come back. Then I can change gears. Im still trying to figure out why Im having to do this though.

Put a hose on the bleeder nipple (on the slave cylinder) and put it into a bottle (I use an Aquafina bottle because I like their water...and it was empty and dry) and pour some clean fluid into it so the hose is submerged. Crack open the bleeder nipple and SLOWLY start pumping the pedal. At this time, make sure the resovoir is full...and continues to be full while doing this. You are not pumping the pedal to build pressure and then cracking open the bleeder nipple like you would with brakes...just keep it open, pump, check resovoir and look for clean fluid coming out of the bleed hose and stop when it is.
