Clunkin noise me too??

hey wassup guys i just started getting a clunking noise today... i know this was talked about on previous threads but it seems that all of the other cars with this problem had a drop... im stillon my stock shocks and springs.. the only thing i have are 18's... did you guys ever figure out wat the problem was...and would that problem apply to me?? i dont have a drop .. im hoping the shocks are the problem that way i can have a reason to drop my car =) ..... but ya it seems to have the same symptoms as the other cars.. when im slowing down right around 10 mph.. it gets that clunking noise and feels like its gonna break or summin.. not to much when i turn but i drove over a speed bump and the noise was pretty loud.. also could it be the cv... the wierd thing is its loudest when im driving str8 on a even road. going 10 mph.. well ne feed back will be greatly aprreciated.. thanks..

is it coming from the front or rear? my clunking noise only came after i put on a set of Pro-kits, and only from the rear. ive determined that the clunking in my car comes from the progressive springs in the rear; the coils hit each other over any sharp bump since they are so close together at the top. since your car isnt lowered, i dont really know what to tell you. how many miles on your car?

I think it's the Pro-Kit springs. Does anyone with air ride or Teins have the clunking noise problem? Or anyone else with a drop using some other coilovers or springs?

i got prokits but i only get a clunk on large bumps from the passenger rear. im still convinced my swaybar and exhuast have something to do with that.
