clueless....stalling

well here we are again lol

i just had a new fuel pump installed..prior to that it kept stalling as im driving so i figured this might be the answer.also had a new distributor installed few weeks back..

and now its still stalling out as i drive..it can drive fine for a good 10-20 min sometimes but it just dies and can start back up right away and other times it takes a few seconds.whats really weird is today is it died but than started up instantly without even having to turn the key..happened in half a second like on/off/on...

what the hell could that be???a electrical issue someplace??

thanks for any advice

Ignition Switch and/or fuel pump relay. I would change both to be safe. Those parts are worn anyways.

You might want to check the battery terminals and cables for corrosion/fraying.

yeah man..thanks to youtube i found out about the ignition switch..
i did what that guy said in the video (eric the car guy vid) and it did the same shit..
wiggle key and it shut off etc..tried in various positions (park, drive, etc)
but during the process of figuring out wtf atleast i installed a new fuel pump which i probably wont have to change again for along time..

thanks for the info mate

#5 is the assy. #12 I think it's just the switch but not 100% sure if that's all you'll need. Your choice?

thanks mates!

issue was solved with a oem ignition switch replacement..

cheap fix too if u find somebody who knows what there doing and knows how easy it really is (some shop wanted 150 to do the install..really??for a 20-30min job?.......)
33bux part on ebay OEM and 50 bux installed..
the only challenge was the 2 one way screws..
