Cls Sixsickspeed
Just got one with navi in anthricite(11/17/02). Any tips ........................... oh my dealer told me that there is something called finishing touch, which is a teflon clear coat for the interior & exterior. It protects from everything & no need to wax the car for 5 years. It costs $700, has anyone heard of that sh*t & if yes, is it really worth it.

ask dustbuster4, i know he had it on his cl, i think he said it was worth it. my cl has it but it was done when new so i dont think it lasts very long, or mine has been buffed off.

260: Congrats!
Yeah, I've got it.
It only cost me about $350.00 (and even then, the dealer threw it in as a "perk" to get me to buy the car).
I absolutely recommend it!
I've only "waxed" my car once in the past 21 months (with the "renewer" wax that comes with their recommended car wash kit).
Also, keep in mind that the Teflon coating gets reapplied every 6 months throughout the 5 years (mine is only for 3 years).
Pics can be deceiving, but my car was built in 12/96:
