Well for my next car I fell in love with a 5speed RWD. Not telling what it is yet tho. At least not in this thread.
Yup, that was me, Carson, and my girl. Hope it helpped you with the seafoam!

It was time and I don't know how much longer that original tranny would last.

Haha well I wanted to wait cause I was gonna get the car soon but decided against the car I was going to get. Reason was I would rather pay more for less miles. And I just don't want to say I'm gonna get something then not get it. But I'm 100% what I want now.
Thanks. Yeah, I had to meet up with the girl again today cause I forgot to give her the spare passenger window reg and of course she had to bring the car..
Oh come on, you know the vid touched your heart.
Thanks. Was thinking about it and was the car I originaly wanted even before the CL, but no.
Nah, better.
MUCH better.
A Z32 300ZX. ('92 - '96)
Was looking at some TT's but there was always either something wrong with them or too many miles. So now I'm thinking since the TT's are $3k more expensive than the N/A's anyway, I might as well find a nice 2+2 N/A and a low mile TT engine (or VH45) and swap it.
I know they aren't the easiest cars to work on and not as reliable as a Honda/Acura, but I have a nice steady job now so I'll be ready.
I really don't want any flame about my decision or whatever in this thread tho, so if you guys don't mind, please keep the flame down to a minimum....

300zx is an awesome car, I was just about to buy one, but they're definitely a complete pain in the ass to work on. Good luck with it though, they're definitely a lot of fun

Teaser of the Z.
'95 300ZX N/A 2 seater @ 128k miles.
Only mods are Top Speed exhaust and dual intake that was done right. Also has a nice Boston Accoustics sound system with a bazooka tube sub which fits perfectly in the hatch. It's perfect interior wise and mechanically but there are some minor dings on the doors and a hairline crack on the plastic piece above the tail lights. Getting those dings popped out by a well known paintless dent removal around my area and replacing that plastic piece and puting on some sweet JDM tail lights on while I'm at it before I start with the mods.

Nice little video, Fred. Pretty well put together. I miss my first gen too...sometimes
My brother had a TT 300ZX. That thing was damn sexy, but they are a PITA to work on, haha.

Yea, it's crazy tight in there....I can't beleve they have a twin turbo version.. Now those must REALLY suck to work on haha.
Thanks guys! And yesssiirrr. Only been able to take them off a couple of times tho due to the nasty hot and humid texas weather..
Thanks man. Saw someone recently do a little pic timeline (forgot who it was) and thought I'd make a vid with some appropriate music.

Oh, and of course the pics and what not.

Didn't want to post pics in CLohie's thread and didn't want to clutter the First Gen CL section with non-related stuff so I just made a thread in the car talk section.

It's definitely noticeably quicker and the fact that it's a 5-speed really helps but by next summer it's gonna be a whole different beast. with the dual intake, exhaust, and chip it's pushing a little over 200rwhp. Gotta do that little dyno thing I used with the CL. It's funny, the Z responds to I/H/E and a chip WAY better than Honda/Acuras but on the otherhand, you have to pretty much pull the engine for any other mods...
