My stock cl vs a civic all he had was rims so I guess he thought he could take me......we went from dead stop & I had a car turn in my lane so I was already a couple of cars lengths in front of him so I switched lanes & he tried to catch up but never made it.

 

I beat him straight off the line......forgot to mention that.....

 

the only civic we cant beat is the SI we can keep up until 60

 

3.0's probably shouldnt have any trouble with an SI right?

 

no doubt.

 

An SI with equal mods and a good driver will keep up with a 3.0 till 60-65. I've raced many back to back to back. After that, we run away pretty quickly.

syl was laughin at me on the way home, i was trying to instigate this prelude on I-85 and he kept trying to catch up but couldnt pull

 

i got my a$$ beat by a b16 turbo'd civic lol...

 

maybe at high speeds u take a civic si easy 100+, but they run high 15s stock which is as fast as a 3.0cl if not faster, but since most arent good drivers you'll prob win. otherwise its not gonna be a cake walk

remember im talking stock vs stock.

 

That's right Mike, but that's with a good launch on the Civic. Without that momentum, they don't have the same advantage on the highway - same with the WRX.
