Cl trunk

OK SO the spoiler i have now is a big screw up. i NEED to take it off but there are holes on the trunk from the drillin they had to do for puttin the wing on. What can i do to fill in the holes and not make it look weird. or where can i get a new trunk?

Well you could have your trunk patched and repainted or buy a new trunk the same color... probably work out to the same price if they were just painting where it is patched. But you may get lucky and score a trunk for cheap at a junk yard. Just go to car-part.com

I would have it redone, although I still have to take those measurements for you, the likelihood of the holes lining up is pretty slim.

if you do happen to go to maaco, make sure that price includes prep (ie: sanding) because if not they will just spray right over the existing paint.

Good point, also make sure they will guarantee a factory match with clear coat and all. Are they gonna install the new wing for you as well or are u just going spoilerless?

AFAIK, the only three stage paints Honda/Acura used in 1997-1999 were Milano Red, Premium White Pearl, and White Diamond Pearl.

They do call it a "maaco paint job" for a reason. There infamous for the orange peel effect and the color being off. I'd go with a private body shop if i was you. And you'll get what you pay for

now it makes sense. I went to maaco to get my lip kit painted and it came out a bit too dark. They said "its because the paint is new" and i actually believed them.
