i have a 97 2.2CL.. and i heard that the CL-S engine conversion is a direct fit.. if anyone can give me any info on the conversion.. and where i can get a CL-S engine and 6spd tranny???

 

A CLS swap is not a direct swap into any first gen cl much less a 4 cylinder CL. The CLs engine and 6 speed tranny is going to cost easily over $5000 considering the 6 speed is only available on the '03 model. It would be a crazy waste of money and your would still have to custom fabricate mounts since you have a 4 cylinder CL and not a 6.
The swap you should be considering if any is an h22 swap. The h22 is the 200 HP DOHC VTEC engine from a '92+ Honda Prelude. Depending on what year or usdm/jdm model you get you can find a complete swap with ecu, 5 speed tranny and complete long block for around $2,000. Now this swap would be a direct bolt in except for the driver side mount and the your headers not lining up with the CL's exhaust.
In any case I think you need to do alot more homework before you go out and buy an engine. Try using the search function to find all the info you need.
