CL-S cams

I know alot of the J30 accord owners have been swapping in the cams from the CL-S. They have been having pretty good results. Has anybody here done and can you comment on the install, cost, and results. Thanks.

I purchased the CL type S cams but havent installed them yet. I bought them from a group buy from another site which also came with all the seals etc...It ran about $200 for all the parts.

The installation runs anywhere from $500-$600. I havent installed them yet cause im waiting for a period where i wont be needing my car as much. Im sure this will take a couple of days. While im doing this im also gonna go ahead and change the timing belt.(might as well)

I also heard that the cams doesn't fit in without it being machines in some areas. Do you know if it's true Dust?

Its true. one of the cams needs to machined because they are for the new cl-s which are distributorless. So basically the cam that the distributor sits on needs to ba machined. Nothing big.
