CL-S cams
I know alot of the J30 accord owners have been swapping in the cams from the CL-S. They have been having pretty good results. Has anybody here done and can you comment on the install, cost, and results. Thanks.

I purchased the CL type S cams but havent installed them yet. I bought them from a group buy from another site which also came with all the seals etc...It ran about $200 for all the parts.
The installation runs anywhere from $500-$600. I havent installed them yet cause im waiting for a period where i wont be needing my car as much. Im sure this will take a couple of days. While im doing this im also gonna go ahead and change the timing belt.(might as well)

ENGAGE MY VTEC BABY!!!!!!
i know a guy that did the type s swap his name on here is monkey, aka jason
he said it gives you more top end power, he also tried the type s throttle body but the rpms were too high and the engine didnt like it, well the sound was not pleasing he said
search for it, ask dustbuster he was going to do it but dont know if he did yet or not

Its true. one of the cams needs to machined because they are for the new cl-s which are distributorless. So basically the cam that the distributor sits on needs to ba machined. Nothing big.
