CL in PUNK'd

so i was watching the new punked on MTV just now and when they drove off with the Royce, there was a '97 CL in the background!

yea .. cant mistake the think horizontal grille for anything other then the 97 CL

my friends and fam tell me i bought a new car with some of the same traits as my old cl. apparently something rubbed off into my brain from the cl when i went new car buying.

wait... 97 CL's have different grilles than other 1st gens? I always see the one with the vertical lines, i always thought those were redone or something... HAHA

so let me get this straight, anything other than 97 has those vertical bars? ...

yea .. 97's have a thin horizontal chrome line

98 and 99 hav the black vertical lines

i watched that movie Alone In The Dark with Christian Slater and Tara Reid(so fine) and like 30 seconds before the credits roll there is a red 97 CL that the two walk right past.
