I've seen a few ppl had projector headlights is that something u put up yourself , because i cant find any and those are dopest lights i've seen on CLs

search theres been plenty on threads on the subject. some key people's post to read up on are from vxcl and 97acura3.0cl

if youre not up to doing it yourself you could check out www.hidplanet.net there are people on that will do it for you. but expect to pay 800+

I know my stuff and It does take a long time to do a conversion

like he said check out hidplanet.com.forums first and then go from there, you would want to check out what kind of cutoff, color of bulbs, phillips or osram, d2s, d1s, and the new d4s/r, bi xenon or regular xenon? designing and planning is key to making a conversion go smoothly, I would also find a spare headlight, does not have to be a CL but find a spare reflector and practice cutting out the holes, mounting styles and all

do a search on me or VXCL and you can find plenty of thread where we discuss what to do and how to do it

I'm in the middle of doing mine right now, but I took all my knowledge and info from joe (97Acura3.0CL) and mike (VXCL), they're my inspiration and are the og's of retrofitting projs

 

no disrespect,am i the only one who thinks projectors look alittle out of place on a cl?kinda ruins the look for me

 

Ive seen 99CL's and koolposter's in person and it looks HOT

who was selling the retro projector lights in this forum??? i remeber some one was sleeing them. Im intrested in buying.

recycledpaper was selling his at one point but he's other than that

 

it wasnt him there was some one else that wanted to sell them for like 700$ in here.

i would like to do them when my other lights come in...but who knows when the heck they will be in. and i will probably end up doing them later in my car modding i want to lower it and do a few other things first before thats done i already have an hid kit waiting for me when my new lights come in.
