These are just a few of my woes, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
I used a regular metal type bit. the cf is pretty weak and drills pretty easy. everything that was on the stock hood went back onto the cf hood, except for the rubber stops on the sides by the shocks, stock were bigger than the holes on the cf. It fits pretty good, I had to align it for about a hour back on the firewall, but its like everyone has told me on here, its a day to day thing. climate changes it greatly. around the grill is funny, one side has a finger gap and the other is almost touching on mine. I had to work with the grill for a while to get it mounted. I forget what I did, I wanna say I had to lengthen the bolts to reach to the other side of the bracket. I lmao when I open the hood though, it flies up faster than shit. hope some of that helps. also be careful on the grill if its like mine, its really tight, and I cracked the cf. I believe it was blackack that had the same problem, and I'm sure we werent the only ones. thats at least one pointer there lol.

For the axle issues you're having, I'm using stock CL axles on my setup and they've worked fine. did this happen before you went boost? Maybe its making too much power for your setup, or something is out of alignment. I dont know why you've been using axles out of other cars, the stock CL axles have worked properly for me, and also Shaun with the H22 EuroR setup, and he's all motor doing 13.2 at the track with no axle issues. I'd order OEM and see how they work out. If it continues to fail, i'd check out your tranny and the mounting location for the axles that you're using, and make sure they're aligning correctly and at OEM angles. Now that i think of it, my friend with an H22 CB7 has had similar issues with his axles, and it was because they mounted his motor and tranny at an angle which put too much stress on them. IDK, i hope some of these ideas help somehow.

Ah shit. I just remembered, you have a 5 lug conversion so stock axles probably dont work.

in that case he should be using BB6 Prelude axles...

i'm still having trouble finding the chart for prelude transmission codes, that might be also related.

hey guys its been a while heres an update on my cl. The h22 lasted about 8k miles before a piston cracked. Not sure exactly what caused it, but I used to beat on the motor in my accord before it was swapped into the cl. I swapped in a h22 from a 2000 lude about a month ago. I didn't put the turbo kit back on until 2 days ago. Its running strong, but I still need to drop in my walbro 255. I hate the fact that you have to drop the tank. Its going a little lean in boost according to the wideband. So I'm staying out of boost til I put the pump in. I got a set of Innovative motor mounts 95a Urethane. Those mounts are stiff as hell. the front end is mad solid and motor does not move. I have some new pics that I will upload soon.
