whats the nices color for a cl?? im gonna get a paint job soon... as of right now im gonna paint it black right now its green the same color dustbuster gots... also im goin to get luckyax2 cf hood this weekend so its gotta match that i guess... but ya you guys got any suggestions??

stick in need for speed underground for ps2, and then browse their colours. there are some nice colour choices.

no..factory is like taffeta white...go with the diamond pearl white from like a cadallac or somethin

 

My friend has pearl white w/ blue tint on his 2.3 CL....looks great

It's like white throughout the day, but when you see a sun reflect off the car, you see a blue like, thin coat or something....blue tint! haha

I say his paint job is great....pearl white is definitely a great color choice

I would get it, but he has it, and hes hookin me up on the paint job for $350, so I can't get that

I'm pretty sure that you can mix pearls with black. I sooooo want to get my car painted, but thats too much $$$$$.

 

They never made a 1st gen cl in silver, and I think that would go nice with the tailights....plus it's easy as all hell to maintain.

You have to remeber if you get it painted a different color you gotto do underthe hood, which means taking out the engine, the door jams, I mean do you wantto do that much work? I was going to do mine a different color but decided not to for the fact that pulling your engine, carpet ect... is way to much work.

Pulling out engine and CARPET? damn thats goin extreme. When i switched from white to blue, i got all my jambs done and everything, but under the hood i had them do it black, and i didnt even bother with yanking up interior shit. Who cares?

primrose is the closest thing to silver and looks pretty damn close to silver

gunmetal i snice but i think its over played with most cars, im doing a blue fade on mine i thik after i get her back up and running, a powder blue to a dark blue fade, like the escalade in the pimp my ride they have on the rack on the left side of the screen but they fade top to bottom o want a fade front to back or back to front, dont know yet but thats what i want

 

Dark colours are the way to go. Midnight red, black, dark blue.....They're a whole lot more work to keep clean, but when they are..... gawd danm.

Adding pearls adds a different dimension too. I hear guys talk about adding pearls to the clear though. Thats almost like making it a tri-stage. If you want to add pearls, just put it in the base. It's a whole lot easier to match when it needs to be repaired. (WHEN, not IF.)

To me the simplest colors look the best. TAke the base colors such as blu, red, black and work with that. I dont think blue is a good idea cuz katana has a very hot and very original car. I think if you go with the Pearl White it would look really nice.

 

a nice deep ruby red with black or chrome wheels...or maybe brickyard from the 350z
