if you're really short on cash and can't afford dynamat (and you plan on keeping your car) you can use rubberized undercoating spray. It's like maybe $5/can and works just as good as dynamat. I friend of mine did this to his civic a few years back.

Get Rammat. I believe he sells it on ebay, but if not go into the audio forums. I used this stuff that its great. Cheaper then dynamat and its suppose to be the same stuff cause he gets it from the same manufactor. don't know about it now. but its cheaper. Dynamat is over priced.

Well how much of dynamat will i need cause from my estimates at least around 100 square feet to do entire trunk and doors. But i was also thinking of doing it to my hood which adds like another 10 sq ft. Does that sound about right or are my estimating kills crappy??

I used dynamat spray foam, it's the shizzle

Did the whole rest of my trunk with it, but it's all under carpet

I used 5 cans in the trunk, and 8 sheets in the door panels

Word...Raam matt is awesome, i've got 60 something square feet applied in the trunk alone! such a great difference.

5 cans sounds about right, but i'm not exactly sure, you can get the rubberized undercoating spray from any auto parts store.
