center console question

whats up everyone i just had a couple of questions. i have a 97 cl and was wondering how difficult it is to swap out a center console to replace it with a new one. The dude i bought the car of of drilled four holes into the console for his phone holster. Also i'm guessing acuraautomotiveparts.org is my best bet? Thanks in advance.

If you can get one from the 98-99. Much nicer than the 97 IMO.

not hard at all, just follow the prelude short shifter DIY i have in the DIY section, it requires you to pull the center console out

all you need is the 98-99 console and just swap it with the 97 one.

Just curious...the 98-99 CL's have heated seats? My 97 CL2.2 sure didn't.

its true.

those heated seats will sure help when you're on the side of the road in the middle of a snowstorm in Jersey and your car wont go in to first, second, third or fourth gear

Just think of it as Acura's way of looking out for you guys

Guess I jumped into the CL market too soon. I got mine in June '96 when only the 2.2 engine was available.

Oh well, got an '01 now (w/heated seats)!

3.2>3.0
