I just put my factory wheels back on for the winter and I remembered that the paint is really crappy and chipping off.

Has anyone painted their center caps before? I'm just wondering how I would go about removing the old paint? What silver colour to paint them? and if I should clear coat them? or where I could pick up a cheap set to save me all that work?

i got some center caps that are beat up i can sell them to you and you can experiemnt on those.

 

Thanks for the offer, but if I decide to paint, I would just go ahead and paint the ones I have.
