Caught street racing need help

allright last night me and d5c5b were out cruising and we decided to go to a parking lot and we pulled up next to each other not like we were going to race because we were all crookedand we decided that we would race in it so we decided to drive over to the other side to see how much distance we had. I Drove off first and squeaked my tires in second going over there and d5c5b followed right behind me and when we got over there we decided that we would race back the other way. d5c5b lined up and when I was lining up too he saw a cop pulling into the parking lot. he said cop so he started leaving going like 20 and I was following right behind him. the cop turned on his lights and stoped in front of us, he got out and asked us to turn off are cars blah blah blah but he did not ask for my registration and insurance just my license. I take it that d5c5b told the guy the truth and I lied to him a whole lot I never told him that we were racing but I think d5c5b did or he told them that we were about to idk. anyways he got off and I got a ticket for racing. I asked the cop if I could get off like d5c5b but he said that he gave me a ticket for racing because I squeaked my tires going across the parking lot and concidered that racing so my question is if I plead guilty for improper acceleration will I get away with that? seeing how we never raced

I think you can get that switched to something like display of speed. Seriously, i've learned never ever lie to cops about traffic situations, everytime i've lied i've been fucked, everytime i've told the truth i've been let off. I got pulled doing 100+ through some canyons. I was honest and let off free.

I think there is a ticket called "Excessive acceleration". You should get it changed to that...but then again since it was in a parking lot and he was right there and you two lined up, he probably could legally hit ya with a racing ticket.

ya, supposedly the cop didnt see us lined up next to eachother....he only recognized us when we were pulling away, and by then civic slayer was behind me in a line...so it didnt look like we were draggin.....like i said to ya earlier chralie, i think you could get away with changing the ticket....i think itll all boil down to who's the judge and how he's feelin that day.....keep in touch man!

This is the method i use. But some people are willing to fight it and if you are then more power to you. I just don't have the time, energy, or motivation to fight it. So when i get a ticket i pay it, unless it was for something that wasn't true, then fight it. Still though who were you hurting by squeeling the tires a bit in an empty parking lot. the police!

squeaking tires could mean exhibition of speed. Which also means wreckless driving.

I would recommend using a period or at very least a comma every now and then.

Also, get a lawyer.

damn nigga, you think thats bad, i dont think you have anything to worry about... ask insyone or CLstunner or dennis, i burned out right in front of a cop, got a ticket for exhibition of speed and i got it dropped like nothing, i told the judge we were filming for a video (we were filming it) and i felt that the conditions were safe and no one was around the environment ect. . . he said "out of all my years working i have never heard a story like this" and he said he'll drop it hahaha, tell them some bullshit like that and if the judge is cool he'll drop it, but if i were you id try and fight it first
