Carbon fiber hood on a black car?

Thinking about getting the carbon fiber hood that was posted earlier, but I have a black cl....
I'm thinking that it would look subtle, but would it be too subtle... Would you even be able to tell that i had it on?
Anyone seen a carbon fiber hood on a black car? Opinions please, or pics would be even better.... thanks.

I think it'd look best on a black car... I personally dont like how it looks on say a white car... it looks unfinished to me... If it was my car, and it was anything other than black, i'd paint it to match...

My friend has a black VW Gti with a carbon fiber hood it looks bad ass on it. Also for those of you with red... GET IT! My cuz has a 98 civic hatchback with a candy apple paint job and a black carbon fiber hood... lets just say he has one of the tightest cars i have ever seen

Im going with some kid on this, black is the only color it looks good on but seems kind of wasteful on the CL JMO since our car isnt too fast unless you have a lot of stuff added on and need to drop some weight

Oh red isnt too bad

I think it will look good but im not to sure about the fiberglass structure. Its too weak and might crack. i would like to wonder what engine heat will dop to the hood since itdoesnt have the heat insulation. I think the hood would get hot. So if someone or urself would forget and lean on the hood it will either crack or burn ur ass!!! i could be wrongbut for the price i dont tghink its the best quality.

u just gotta be careful I guess... they are built to handle heat... fiberglass makes up a lot of insulation materials and heat wraps... and carbon fiber is very heat resistant.

you even have to close them lightly... like set it down, and press it closed... so you dont seperate the frame from the hood.

I second that it seems to be a waste on a heavy car... but its your decisions.
