Car is throwing P1457 code

The other day my check engine light came on, so i did the unpluged all those fuses and battery like everyone says. But the next day it came back on. So I had someone scan it for me and it came up with P1457 - Mfr. Controlled Aux. Emission Controls, which I'm guessing is the same thing as "EVAP Control System Leak" that I see most other Hondas have for the 1457 code.

First of all, let me make sure, this isn't the EGR valve thing right?

Next, my dad is all worried bec. in the manual it says "driving with the check engine light on could cause serious long term damage, blah blah blah" so of course he wants me to get it looked at right away.

So what am I looking at here? How much to get it fixed? (got 76k miles) so I'm not sure if it'll be covered, and how long will it take? Probably not something I could fix myself right?

i dont think u should do anything urself, take it to acura or a honda dealer. I know they are so expensive but they do ur car right.

for this particular situtation I would do that.

or maybe to pep boys or auto zone.....whateva is in ur area.

good luck
