If that's what you want, then go for it. But being in the Marines right now is not a fun job.

My buddy Rob, and three other people in his unit got out over a year ago. Guess what, they were recalled back into active duty, for an 18 month Iraq tour. This will be his third tour in 5 1/2 years, the other two being for 14 and 16 months.

If you want to look at the Marines, go to it. Personally, I love being in the Air Force. Sure, we deploy too, but not a long as those guys. If you wanna look into my branch, pm me. Or I can set you up with a Marine recruiter, I know one, so what ever works bro.

3 of my close friends are currently active duty marines, so if anything ill use one of them. but i wanna be a cop one day, so i feel that ill be better ready for the job with millitary/combat expierience.

Being in the Air Force must be insanely awesome. I can only imagine what it would be like to fly a fighter jet. The rush must be insane! Def not something you can easily get in too. 3.5 GPA and dont they give you a 3000 page book to study for a huge test and what not. I knew someone that was attempting to enroll and it was a lot of work. Understandable as well since you're flying multi million and even billion dollar aircraft.

Man, I would love to be a passenger in a fighter jet just once.

I passed most of the preliminary tests, and even tested to Intel level on the ASVAP but I couldn't fly cuz I'm 6'5" and couldn't fit in the cockpits Was goin for Intel, but decided to stay in school and make real money in defense contracting. Being a pilot would have been cool though, always been a dream of mine.

Cars lookin good still bud!
