Car Painting Project Semi-Complete. Have Mercy only my first time!

Here are some pics of my attempt at painting the ride. It's white with a frost blue pearl.

Shot of the front bumper, more sanding required, just messing around and shooting leftover pearl.

Another shot of the front bumper

Shot of the rear with the back bumper shaved/molded

Shot of the hood without light applied.

Shot of the hood now with light applied

Tell me what you guys/gals think. Was nervous of not knowing the outcome but overall I am happy as it turned out alright.

But most of all I'm happy that I saved a whole load of money as compared to what a body shop would've charged me.

Peace folks

I painted it in a custom made garage for my car and my father's tractor. I simply added an exhaust fan, intake with filter, and sealed everything in using plastic sheets made for greenhouses.

Hope this answered your question. And thanks for the reply.

ApocalypseCL,

I never expected the color to turn out like this but I can't complain...I actually like it!!!

After it cures completely all I have to do is color sand and buff it and admire that show car shine!!!! But can't drive it just yet, since I don't have the back glass, it was shattered but tuesday is when I'll be ready to roll!!!

Anyhow, thanks for the reply it is greatly appreciated!!

Id be scared as hell to paint my own car...apocalypseCL..the color on the escalades is diamond white pearl, its a white with a off-white pearl. AthlonXP is spraying a blue pearl by the looks of it. I wish my car was white w/ blue pearl

daym that paint job is pretty damn clean from the looks of the pics. that frost blue pearl is dope as hell! the shaved rear is pretty nice too, subtle and it gives it a cleaner look.

Sweet diy painting. The shaved trunk without a wing looks tight.
