Car Fixed . . . Several Pics

I'm happy to have my CL back!

So far, she rides great!

I'm not very pleased with how the shop put the hood on :thumbsdn:, so I'll take it back for adjustment.

Total cost was just under $5200.00!

My deductible was $250.

But, for the price I got a new front bumper and bumper cover [painted], new stock lip, new light housings, new grill and emblems, new hood [painted], new radiator and fan, new A/C condensor, new fenders [painted], and a front end alignment . There are other odds and ends not worth mentioning,

I also had the body shop repaint the rear bumper and I just put on a new OEM lip. I also replaced the instrument panel housing (lense was scratched).

On Thursday, the CL gets a wash, wax/polish, then a new Teflon coat!

I hope to have the headers on next weekend. Then comes the Type 'S' cam swap.

I smell mid-13's by Halloween! :P

The pics don't show that much, but here they are:

good to see your back on the road

my hood looks like shit too, and it can't be adjusted, acura dealer try 3 times when it was under warranty
they kind of fixed it and then 3 days later it would pop back out

good luck with the hood, i'm hoping a CF hood will fix my problem

I have Brembo's in the front, and I'm not sure which brand in the rear (but they're not brembos). Here's my old thread about them: http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...bo+dustbuster4

I think the cost of the Teflon was around $300-$350. For that price, they apply a new Teflon coating every 6 months for 3 years!

I wish your pictures would show up on my computer, don't know why it didn't load, but, if it looks as good as it did then I know you're one happy camper. I'm planning on giving you a run for your money on bestest lookin' CL on the web. I just got a few major issues to take care of first. Hurdle one was surpassed today. I got my new wheels on. Damn, what a difference. Don't have any pics right now, coming up soon though. A little off subj.. I'm getting it lowered next weekend. i asked a guy at the tire place about lowering it and how hard it was. He told me I'm probably going to want to get new ball joints and some other shit too. He also said I shouldn't do it myself. I don't want to pay him to do it. Do I need anything else besides the two packages I get in the mail with my shocks and springs? I can understand getting small stuff but not something that according to this guy costs 100+. I can go to a lift anytime I need and have all the shop tools. Is there anything extra I'm going to need or should be aware of. Sorry about taking up so much of your thread but I'm not familiar with the details on suspensions and I need to know so I don't get ripped off. Any help will be gretaly appreciated. NOw that you got your ride back be extra defensive(like I had to tell you that).
