car alarm

how difficult is it install a car alarm in a cl? or would it be a better idea to take it somewhere and have it done?

take it to a professional. It'll take probably around 3 hours for a professional to do. If you're getting a remote start system, that'll take about an additional hour or so. But seriously, take it to a professional, because most likely you'll never find the wires that you need.

I did mine, and my wifes remote start/security systems (DEI), and as a certified MECP installer, I can tell you it takes time and requires special tools and experience. Don't do it yourself, and make sure you tell them that you want the brain hidden somewhere other than the drivers side underdash
