Cant shift out of park!
Wow,
I never had this happen with any car i had before. I park my car in the drive way and a couple of hours later i get back in to go to work and it wouldnt shift from park to any gears. I pushed the brake pedal down and still no go. This happen to my girl the other day when she drove it and a little time went by and it work again. Now it happen to me. Should i go to a dealer for this problem or could i go to any shop?

Now i check with them and acura said they replace it. Would this be the cause of my problem?
I cant shift from park to ANY gears. I push down on the brake pedal and still nothing. Then later it works again. Before that i was driving the car fine, getting in and out with no problems.
I would hate to get it towed to the dealer for something they should have fixed correctly.

yea thats your problem.. just pop out the little black ovalshaped plastic cover to the right of your shifter, stick the key down into the hole and press down on the white release lever inside. shift it into neutral and start the car and drive to acura.
