Can Rims Be Refinished?

Hey everyone, Theres a guy i know whos had 17 " rims on his spoon civic...well he wants to sell them to me for $400 for rims and tires....the only downside is the rims are a year old and theres some scratches on them. (looks like he grabed the curb a few times....damn curbs ) But for $400 i think i might do it. Is there anyway to repolish or refinish polished sliver rims (not chrome)??? If there is , anyone know how much $ it costs? Also, would there be something totaly wrong with buying used 1 yr old rims? Thanks! ~CJ~

Civic and 3.0 bolt patterns are different...correct?

Regardless, I had some american racing wheels on my sol that a wheel shop quoted $100 to remove curbsex. I dont think I paid $100 for the wheel, but no one could see it but me.

BTW..what makes a civic a spoon civic?

Is that like mugen and JDM...I spend a ton of cash on shit that wont make my car any faster type stuff?
