Hey guys,
I put up a post about my starter failing on the 97 CL 3.0, well it ended up being the starter so I had it replaced and the car starts fine now.
Except after the mechanic put in the new starter new problems came up, first off when I put the car in Drive it seems to lag, almost like I have to give it more gas than before to get it to move, similar to the tranny slipping but this was never an issue before the new starter was installed, the second problem is the D4 on the instrument panel won't stop blinking no matter what gear you have it in. If you have it in Park or any other gear it will light up and stay on but the D4 will also light up but continue to blink. I'm sure that these 2 problems are caused by the new starter and I can't figure out what's causing this to happen, any advice or suggestions on how to rectify the problem would be greatly appreciated, as well why the new starter would make the car feel like the tranny is slipping from a dead start and why the D4 keeps blinking, please help if anyone can, thank you.

Your tranny is going, first thing I would try is resetting the ecu again, reset the ecu by removing the battery terminals for about 5 mins
