Camber kit questions

Well, im gonna try this again after sending the first kit back because they sent me the wrong one, i just recived the new one. Along with the kit im having illuminas and 2.5f/2.25b springs put on. Will i have a problem with the clearance in the front? The instructions that came with the kit say that if the adjustment is more than 2 degrees modification of the fender wall or arm will be necissary. What the hell does that mean?

you might have clearance problems.
ive heard of people with camber kits and no problems, but personally....ive had a hell of a bad time with mine.

in my case, the inner fender would sit on the control arm with the camber kit in. i was told i would need to shave the innerfender to make it fit, and that was not a guaranteed solution

can the camber kit still be installed and drove on for a short time until i get that fixed?
Also you had cleance problems with yours, did you have to shave the fender wall or did you wait to install the kit?

Yes, you most likely will. It is the camber kit that causes the clearance problem not the springs. Depending on the kit (I never looked at the sprint kits) if the upper arm pivots change (moved out) you will have a problem.

well the front uses the anchor bolts to change the camber, really dont know what that will entail as far as the parts moving. Is cutting the inner fender wall or modifing the inner fender wall an easy job?
