cam gear install
how hard is it to actually install the cam gears right? 2 local performance shop quoted me at 160 for installation. and 150 to tune them on a dyno. What u guys think? thats a little steep. thats about 310 + cost of the gear. Not really worth the 5-10hp u think? Anyone know how to install the cam gear and can post directions?? thanks!

You could do it w/ the right tools. I couldnt break the nut loose on the gear without spinning the whole cam.
I waited till the 90K service and had them put it on with the belt.
The tuning they quoted isnt bad but the install should be no more than $50-75. You'll have to dyno it anyway to dial it in.
