ok i have had my CAI in fotr a few months now, love the power gain, love the sound in vtec. But soemtimes my CAI makes a loud whistling noise. I really hate that noise. I think it may be just around a certian rpm level. Its like if i hit the gas fast but dont push it down very far it makes that noise. I was wondering if its supposed to make that noise or I installed mine wrong or soemthing.

darn i was hoping it wasent and I could fix it and get rid of that whistle.

 

It only makes that noise when you gradually push dwn on the gas.......just step on it a little harder then normal if you don't like it.

hmmm- just did a search cuz i have the same prob- only thing is, mine whistled before i put in the CAI too. there doesn't seem to be anything wrong, just kinda annoying.

Yeah! I miss that whistling sound of the CAI! My exhaust is so damn lound, I can't hear the CAI anymore!
