hey all...I've noticed a few 1st gen's wit hthe new style acura emblem...how does that work? Do you have to drill? Also, do the old emblems come off or do I have to have holes filled?

 

No drilling necessary!

They're held on with glue (2-sided sticky tape).

The old emblems peel off fairly easily. Just make sure the emblems are hot (either from the sun on a hot day, or heat them with a hair dryer), and use fishing line (or similar) to peel them off.

I got mine off Ebay! I recommend it if you can find them there. I have 2 sets, one from a 3.0 and one from a 3.2, so I have an extra Gold "A" emblem from the 3.2, extra A-C-U-R-A letters and a gold 3.2 badge available!
