I think i'm gonna get AEM/Nissin pads. Seems easier since I'm ordering some other stuff from this company and they happen to carry these too :P

I went with Comptech on the fronts when they were ready to be done. Good stopping - no noise - no dust.

Comptech uses Matrix metal master brake pads. I don't like them because the squeel, cause lots of dust, and I guess improve stopping. I dunno what bartman is talking about.

hehe

i have axxis metal master in front and back.....

i used to have a lot of squealing...but after a session of continous hard braking (mountain driving; enough to make em smell)....all squealing went away.

+'s: imporved braking power, more fade resistance

-'s: brown rims......major dusting

Make sure you have your rotors re-surfaced.

I installed my Powerstop rotors and Axxis pads in the rear and they are fine, no squealing yet.

I'm getting the fronts done at a shop next week most likely. (I have the "slam-off" front rotors)
If you go with Powerstop drilled rotors they end up being cheaper than the factory ones from Acura.

I hear the AEM ones are made of a lighter shade of material so the dust doesn't show as much. To each his own. I'll just clean my wheels more.

haven't had any noise & the stock pads used to COVER my wheels in black brake dust...other than the usual road grime, I'm not getting anything on the wheels.

Maybe CT changed their compound?
Maybe I just got lucky?
Maybe it will all change tomorrow?

for now, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they stay good

I have axxis pads and they stop really well, but the brake dust is horrid. I'm gonna try those EBC pads next w/ the clear brake dust.
