well as you all know ive been waiting for a CL for a long time, couldnt buy one till im 18, well i turn 18 in 3 weeks, today a 97 2.2 5 spd (green) came in, i checked it out, runs beautiful, 77k miles, cherry condition, all of my cowokers told me to pick it up, so i decided to get the car, problem is since im 17 i gotta wait till im 18 to finance 2,900$ (paying the rest in cash) so they put a sold sign on the car and its gonna sit in storage for 3 weeks till i get it, but im excited!, was priced at 13,995 but since i work at the dealer i got it for 7,300$, cant wait to pick up the car, only thing i dont like is the green (no offense to the peeps with green CLs), and i know i was gonna buy that 97 2.2 blue show CL for 17,000 but i got turned down on a loan, plus buying a boughtrod dosent give you the satisfaction of turning a stock car into a piece of art, will post picks once i have my car and have all the parts i got...peace!

I like that blue CL alot, but it kinda takes all the fun out of modding. It is someone elses work of art that you are taking over. My car is mine, all my ideas, all mods installed by myself. In the long run, you will like havin a fresh canvas to work with.
