Bosal vs HKS
Hello this is my first post. Glad to be here where I belong. My 97 2.2's exhaust has a few holes in it and I was wondering which exhaust I should buy for my car. Brospeed has a header-back system and HKS has cat-back. I haven't seen another company except Brospeed that makes a header for out cars. Comptech only makes for the 3.0. Each company claims 8-12% gain. Brospeed header-back for 900, and HKS cat-back I found for 700. I was also wondering if someone could post dyno results from each system if possible. Also which high flow cat should I use. Most of my friends use random tech. Thanks for the replies.

OK, here goes. Use the search feature to look for previous posts about "header" or "exhaust". The 94-97 Accord stuff fits our car. DC Sports seems to be the header of choice. And for exhaust, from your two choices I would go with HKS. Brospeed never seemed like a good product to me. I think they are Pacesetter, which is a crappy company.

Wow, after searching for car parts i've come to the conclusion that bolt-ons for lots of $$$$$ still won't make our little vtec's fast. Power to weight ratio thing I guess. I think i'll just stick to the looks and my incredible sounding audio system. Thanks for the feedback. Maybe saving for an NSX.

Our cars aren't fast. Its gonna be more for looks and beating up on civics. So just buy a universal muffler and replace the rear section exhaust. Total cost should be less than 250$...you could conceivable go as low as 150$
