Hey RidinLow, I just installed my shift knob...its a wannabe Integra TypeR/s2000 knob, aluminum. I haven't replaced the boot (haven't even taken off the chrome collar), so it looks like ass. I need to get a boot that will fit up to the beginning of the knob...are you still making those booty's? I like those black ones with the blue stitching, its a nice touch. How much, and could you give me a little info about installing the boot so that it fits right on the knob?

ATL, the prices are listed above.
TT, my WRX clutch died at 12k mi, but I got it warranteed. I have a manual boost controller for more boost, a Field SFC and EGT & boost gauges for tuning, a 3" turboback, Kartboy short shifter, OZ Superleggeras, sway bar, etc. My service manager autocrosses with me, so that helps (even though he's seen me launch that car hard at least a dozen times).

LoL, RidinLow I just noticed that now. Oh well, at least no one is bitching at me for not using the search function. Its fun to dig up some of these old posts. Well, I read someone got their old shift boot to work by doing some ghetto ass stuff with electrical tape. I might try that before I order one of your fancy-schmancy booty's. I'll let you know either way, cause they do look mad nice.

The wrx sounds like a fast car. I drove my friends tsi talon, and was scared to launch that beast at like 2-5, the tranny has been replaced once and rebuilt twice! It is a nice car though, i kind of go for the awd T cars, somethin about puttin 5 car lengths on that 5.0 off the line just makes me tingle inside.
