Ok i have been spending many hours talking to companies about making body kits, having Cl members drive to there companies, and this is what I have so far:

Hello, I am a member of Acura-CL.com. We all are in desperate need of a body kit for our first generation CL. All that is available is a wings west front wich is not even sufficient for out car, and 97' Accord Sides for our car. Some of us have paid 2 grand to mold your body kits to our cars as well. I understand that you would need one of our cars in your shop for almost a month to complete the kit. Andy's Auto offered to make me a kit and paint it for free, yet they are in california and that is too long of drive. Looking at how desperate I am now, I would drive there for a kit. We all, over 100,000 want a body kit for our car and would be eager to pay for it. Companies have just now started to recognize our car and producing modifications. Carbon Fiber hoods and engine parts are emerging every day for our car. Would you be willing to make a body kit for our car? please Email me back with your feedback

Yeah i checked the sight and all I saw was a 2000 CL

I still need to email Wings West, Xenon, Razzi, Aero Distributer, and even the Cheapo Companies to make something for our car. I just want all of you who keep emailing me to know I am still trying, its just hard. What I dont get is why these people dont want to make money!!!

Hey luckyax...I appreciate you doing this for us. I actually have called extreme dimension and got the same replied that they are working on a body kit for our cars, but it's not done yet and they don't know when it will be done. So let's keep updating aight...thanks...

 

no prob man... have you contacted any other companies? i think Xenon would be the best place of any body, perfect fits
or WW should finish the type r kit for our car since most of us have the lip

 

where is this andy's auto in california? if they make the body kit and paint it all for free i may be willing to give my car up for a month. i cant afford to buy one so thats why I say if its free i'll give my car up for a little while. as long as its nothing too extreme or ricey.

www.jtautostyle.com has a CL body kit...look in old web site...it is an extreme pain in the ass to look at those pictures b/c the arrows are so small but hope you enjoy

 

those body kits are for the new CL, nothing for the 1st gen

 

The place they do their body kits is in Milpitas, right by the Great Mall. About 5 minutes from where I stay.

I do believe that they would do something outrageous to the car if you were to donate it to them. Maybe not.
