Yes i did search and i couldn't find any threads for block heaters on 2.x and for the 3.x ones there weren't any answers anyways....
So i got my brother to order me a block heater for my car directly from acura, cuz i need one for these winters. I was just wondering if there is anybody on here with a block heater for a 2.x or if anybody has installed a block heater on their cars and what kind of work it takes. I'd rather try to do it myself then take it to my mechanic.
Also can anyone look up how many mechanic hours it is to install a block heater on our cars?

and now if anyone knows how to install a block heater that would help a lot, cuz i don't really feel like paying my mechanic that much money

take off da distributor just cuz it will give u more room. i think its 2 bolts. Clean up the area . then use one of ur alignment tools and a hammer (NOT sledge) and hit twice on the frost plug on one of the sides so its would kind of spin instead of fallin. after that take pliers pull it out. Take some really fine grit sand paper to clean up the area wher the frost plug was and so the block heater would have a good seal. ummm make sure u have a pan for coolant. Take ur infamous block heater nd pour some antifreeze on the ring seal on the heater plug. Push the heater into the hole and take a flat head screw driver and start screwin the heater plug into the hole so its fully sealed. affter that you wana to start filling the cooling system back up with 50/50 mix coolant then watch to make sure there's no leaks. nd then of course put bak the distributor cap and seal it tightly.
