i've thought about doing it myself also. i've helped my friend clear out his headlights before, what we did was, we took a very sharp knife and cut through the sealent. we were advised to do this and then we used silicone sealer that we bought for $5, and it werked like a charm. keep in mind however that the car was a 2000 cougar

Congrats they look killer.
For anyone thinking about doing theirs, do it. I think i was the first on the board to do them so i didnt have a clue as to what to do (well besides what accord ppl had said but not specifically CL stuff) and they were super easy, just time consuming

I popped the little clear lense out and masked underneath where it would go so the lese sort of overlaps the black, it looks sick. I have gotten so many comments on it from just driving around, some guy thought i paid 1200 dollars for JDM lights...lol...also, i put an amber bulb in the side part because there is practically no bulb that matches (in my opinion) my new hid kit.

yea, i'm really tempted to do my lights, but i don't have the balls to do it. my friend just did his lights on his civic si... unfortunately, he didn't seal it properly or something, and his headlights are fogged up. oh well, if someone who knew what he was doing would help me, i'd do it!

I used some high temp. black flat paint. The headlights get pretty hot but i have had my black housings for awhile now and no peeling or anything. I have a post somewhere that explains the whole process

I just used Krylon Gloss Black Spraypaint from home depot. Did you guys sand yours or just paint over it? I sanded all of the chrome off and them painted over it so it would stick
