black gutter guard?

Some of the gutter guard grilles i've seen seem too bright to me so i was thinking of painting some gutter guard black and slappin it on the front. Should i put anything else on besides the black paint? Heat resistant paint? Corrosion proof stuff? Also I was thinking of putting one of my red A emblems over the black gutter guard. What you guys think of all this? Rice or not?

If thats what you wanna do... Personally I think the silver ones look great... but if you want black you may want to try some factory color matched paint (usually found at auto parts stores) and put some clear coat over it so it matches the car. You shouldnt need any special paint cause its not subject to any realy heat, and its aluminum, so it dosent rust. I'd also stay away from a flat paint... use something with a gloss to it.

I used some semi-gloss black paint and after a put on a few coats i put on a few coats of clear coats. It looks pretty good but i need to re-do it to cover up some chips
