BIG Question and I want everyone honest opinion.

I'm bout to buy nomad rear section of his exhaust and I wonder if I buy it will it give me any gain in hp if I install it on my car. Remenber it's just the rear section. Please give me the true facts. If not sure please don't reply. I want to know before I make a final decision. THANKS all for your help in advance.

Also if it gives me no gain I will probably get a brand new OBX exhaust system for 450.00 or buy nomads and buy the mid section on up.

I wouldn't expect much of a gain.

I recommend getting the axle back from NOMAD, then getting a custom mid-pipe made. It would be a great time to also swap your cat for a racing cat/high-flow cat.

This is what I'm getting ready to do.

BTW: I also got my axle-back from NOMAD!

Axle-back refers to the muffler and the immediate pipe that's connected to it. It runs back just beyond the rear axle, hence the name "axle-back".

A racing cat refers to the catalytic converter (cat) which is designed in a way that allows the exhaust to flow freely through it, therefore increasing HP. The cat fits in between the exhaust manifold (or headers) and the mid-pipe.

Here's an example of a high-flow cat: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33629

I have rear section only on my car. BIG difference in top end power and top speed. I hit 135+ no problem. I used to top out at 120.
