Best mounting kit for double-din DVD

I was wondering what kind of mounting kits people have in their cars for their double-din in-dash TV's. I just acquired a kenwood in-dash through a friend and i want it to look good once its installed. Its not the flipout one, its the one that mounts flush and takes up the entire double-din. Thanks for everyone's help!!

Double din kits have to be custom made

And please don't ask your mechanic to stress test it

Oh shit, here it comes...

UT, express your interest to nippon_wa. He is the "master fabricator." He offered to post a DIY if enough people are interested.

Nippon_wa, count me in.

If you searched, you would have found examples of people that customized their single din mounting kits for double dins, but I guess you're above searching since you're such a busy 17 y/o that doesn't spend his life on the forum

Oops, suddenly forgot how to make a double din holder.

I posted in here and had not read the end of "I hate my car..."
Wow, dude, you go BRASS BALLS, to ask anything after basically telling all of us that we are "lifeless internet masturbaters."

As for KARMA...
Uhm yeah, we'll just leave that to your own concience.

And since you included all of us in that rant, I say...

Good luck with your project.

Damn I was actually looking here for the same thing. I wanted to install a Kenwood DDX-6019 in my 01 Cl-s. I bought this mount hoping I could just modifying it. http://www.beachaudio.com/product_in...cuk866&src=sli

After seeing it in person I don't think I can, so I started thinking about a flip out monitor to use with the same kit. Ass suggestions? either for the Double Din or the flip out?

Thanks for any help someone could give.

i just went to frys and got the same looking kit. i cut out the middle and then had my friend trim it as needed to fit the unit snug, but also allow enough room for it to flip down

Why do you always expect me to reply within minutes of you posting one? I havent been home since the LAST time i tried to reply to your babbling. You need to chillax and learn to do something else with your time besides waiting by your fucking computer for me to reply.

Anyways...

Klepto i like your work from the Interior pictures thread a lot. I didnt know that everyone's double din kits were all custom. I guess i'll be getting to work on that bright and early tomorrow since i finally have a day off! Thanks!
