best mod i've done yet.. *IMPORTANT* no 56k

okay. so alex made a diy for these already, but its false he siad pull out the radiator supports and the fans and everything but there is tons of room and you dont have to so dont waste your time!!!

heres just some pictures i took today..

over all.... the old mount was broken and i see a pretty noticeable difference w/ the motor staying in the same spot..

it shifts harder and on the way home i went through some gears and chirped 3rd... i'm hoping to see a difference in my 60 foot time in the quarter mile

i cant test the handling yet cuz theres snow on the ground, but i'm sure it has helped a lot in that dept also

^^ yeah especially since the inserts cost about 15 and the new motor mount was 40..

it would take about 30 mins to do it yourself.. its very easy to do

I just filled my front and rear motor mounts with some PL PolyUrethane glue from home depot. My motor doesnt move AT ALL in the engine bay, but my car rattles pretty good with the A/C one.

crazy alex- no i wasnt its like 2 degrees here

h2o- its dirty.. i never got a chance to clean it out before i stopped driving it

nautic - it prevents the motor from moving so that the weight distribution of the motor doesnt disrupt the momentum of the car so it helps handling and acceleration. some of the key elements for me are that it reduces wheel hop while launching a lot and makes shifting a lot firmer and crisper

cofffee alex- i called a bunch of local places they were all in that range

For some reason yours seems quicker in 4rth than mine does when you hit the n20

Will the insert do any good if your motor mount isn't broken? Would you recommend doing this if your engine isn't modded much (i.e. just an intake)?

NO NO NO. Just buy the mount and your questions will subside. You just take it out of the package and put it on. THAT SIMPLE
