Best HID Kit? (Pls Help a brother out!!!)

Hola all! I know its been a few months since the last post, I think I last posted in July. But I finally scraped together some cash (including winnings of $6k in a contest) so I'd like to go the route of an HID Kit. Problem is I dunno what is the best ones. Any suggestions? I don't wanna break the bank, but I'd also like some high quality ones too...

The very best HID kit you can buy right noe is the Stage II Lights. i heard about it through a friend. Its the brightest and highest quality lights right now. I think they run for about 700. Trust me dont buy anything else

I got the Hella HID's with 7K lights, very damn bright if you ask me!

I say go for the 6K lights, they are more than adequate, and the price was $365 in a group buy here in the forum, regular price is like $425

I am also needing advice on an HID kit that would be good. I want the blueish type color and the brightness. Would doing an aplication such as VXCL be a good idea?

no, projectors is completly custom you can either...

1. buy a hid kit that comes with everything
2. buy your own set of ballasts, bulbs (rebased 9006), and wire adapters
3. get projectors, ballasts, bulbs, wire adapters

no, anything above 4300k is purely for "looks" meaning that theyre tinted blue/purple/etc. Which means less output. 4100k and 4300k are the stock kelvin ratings for bmws, acuras, lexus, etc. you want to STAY AWAY from those kits. I wouldnt recommend getting anything above 6000k. Also, the reason the audi and bmw lights look so cool is because theyre using projectors, and youre seeing the cutoff line, like how the color shifts from purple to blue, etc

if you get anything more than 4300 you are looking to get pulled over

4300k is stock and you get the most light out of the bulbs and the most life out of them too

if you pay any more then $250 for a kit you need to some sense smacked into you. for 700 you could buy 2 brand new headlamps, d2s bulbs, d2s ballasts, and d2s projectors.

for 700 i think i would sell my whole setup already completed as well as some others who have retros
