BENZ Flip Key for Acura!?! Would this work!?

Hey, so u think this would work..?...just get the blank key cut to match your OEM key and u think u'd be able to program the remote too??

The second one definately wouldnt, the first one doesnt say if it has a transponder or not. I would hope so for the price but i dont think anyone makes transponder flip keys.

the 1st one said that the buttons on the key has no functions. so it won't work either

you would have to still use the factory remote, unless you could reengineer it to work. but that would only fly for the 97's since they don't need the transponder.

They make what is called a transponder by-pass for remote starter systems. I'm sure this could easily be used to work with the flip key. However, the bypass is generally expensive and you would have to use one of your original keys to code it, or, You may need to leave the original key inside the dash, because the key itself has a resistive value to it that the electronic ignition recognizes. The whole setup would probably cost you 50 bucks or so to install.

The "bypass" used in remote starts in a correctly coded key close by in the dash...

These flip keys look :ghey: tho. Go buy a Benz or a VW if you want one...
