I re-aranged my frog tank. Took out the pebbles, replaced them with

blue and green sand + some simulated grass and 2 more green

frogs. They only cost 2.99 for the white frogs and 1.69 for the

green ones. I dont feel so bad after paying a lot for a woodgrain

wheel while i can get an amphibian for less than 5 dollars.

o yeah. i have been working on my shot with woods. I've been

slicing and hooking too much. My approach shots and Par 3

holes have not given me as much trouble as my long balls. Anyone

got any tips? Thats basically my reason for having so many woods.

Take lessons

Do you slice or hook more often?

Theres about a million things you can do to try and eliminate both.

1)strengthen or weaken your grip depending on if you slice or hook more often.
2)changed your stance (front foot closer to ball =hook stance, back foot closer = slice stance
3)change the ball position. Sometimes a slice means your late with the clubhead and/or ahead with the hands. A hook can mean you're clubhead is early and hands are late.

damn theres too much I could say.... got any more specific questions??

You might try a wire brush to remove the corrosion, and put some lithium or other heavy grease on the terminals to prevent further corrosion.

oh BTW you hopefully know this..., but some people don't, so I'll say it.

If you hook the ball, the club head is usually coming to far from the inside, then outside after the ball.... and a slice is from outside to inside...or across the ball
( : <--- = hook
) : <--- = slice

the 2 dots are your feet, and the line is your clubs path. You want it to be closer to the hook path than the slice path, but not too much. That should give you a nice little draw

i am pretty sure its a grip issue. I'm gonna head out to the range

after my group tomorrow. I have like 7 woods in my bag, I'm gonna

feel them out and then i'll let you know which i keep. Thx for the

little lesson, golfs one of my favorite sports.

some one said something about taking a penny and putting it

by the battery terminals. I dont buy this idea at all. Where would

I go to get lithium or "heavy grease"? I dont like the look of this

yellow shit that the weed man sprayed on the battery.

i havent played more than 10 times on a course (full 18).

but i'd say i shoot horrible numbers. i cant really give an average

of my score cuz its always different. i have yet 2 get fully into

the sport and calculated my handicap. I'm lucky if i shoot

less than 7-8 bogeys. I try 2 stay close to par. never hit a birdy

yet. BTW i hate to get off topic this golf part should b in ramblings

BUT is the penny thing true?

I forget what the shit was called, but at the golf course I used to work at, we had this stuff you spray on the battery lines and it eats all the corrosion away.

Oh and don't even worry about slicing/hooking if you've only played 10 times Just try to make decent contact You'll get the feel for where the balls gonna go once you start playing on a regular basis.

If you have any bearing grease in your garage that should be fine, but you should find lithium grease at any automotive or hardware store.

So funny!!! BTW, why are you showing all of us your clubs and frog. I'm not trying to be a dick at all, but its kinda random, or have you previously posted something i missed? I think that grill looks too much like a heating/air conditioning vent for me though, much better than the gold one though:P

they eat Bloodworms. the worms are like 3-5 cm long.

they eat very little. No one has answered my question yet.

I forget who posted this sill Info, but, what kinda idea is it

that a penny would take away from the corosion of a battery terminal?

uhm.. the penny thing works, but you ahve to put it very close to where it would normally corrode. the thing is(and I learned this in chemistry last semester), the easiest element to break down will be the first one to break down. The penny being copper will break down increadibly easily. Something about a low corrosion rate. anyways.. the copper will react with the "bad" elements that would normally corrode the battery because the elements are lazy and want to do as little work as possible ( as you can tell I'm not going to major in chemistry), so they go for the penny instead of the battery heads.

OR you could just put some baking soda on teh battery and wash it off every once in a while. If you read the manual for our cars you would know that already .

you can tape it or glue it. as long as it's close to the proper terminal. I suggest just taping it, since it's so small, just change it out once the penny gets too corooded.

I'm gonna have to take some pix, havent seen the wheels yet

but he took the lowering springs off so it'll look like a 4x4.

Wow, i really cant believe that the penny thing will work. So to

get this yellow shit off, do ya'll think i should use soap and water

the white frog, yeah, he was hiding. I made hiding spots for them

as they recommended that i do. Thx for the complements

on the grille. Another question, if i "spray" something off of the battery,

wouldnt i be risking electricution or possibly a short.
