Everytime i start my car it idles at 1250-1500rpm and usually ill just put right into reverse and the rpms shoot down to 750 and the car kinda jolts into gear...Is this ok to do? Should i let the idle go down (usually takes like 3-4 minutes)and then put into reverse? .

 

I just put it in gear and go.

 

It shouldnt really hurt anything...........

 

you may just have a cracked or loose tranny mount if it jolts......youre supposed to just drive away anyways b/c it heps the car warm up faster
