As i woke up this morning to go pick up my car from the towing lot that had been WRONGFULLY towed (towing companies here try to rob people, i swear) , i thought this was gonna be a bad morning. After having the apartment complex manager fax over a letter to tell them to give me back my car for free, i went n got it and proceeded to go pick up my frat brother who needed a ride to the train station about 40 mins away. i though "great, wake up early, no sleep, then drive in traffic for 40 mins ". So we head out on the road and to my surprise, no traffic! As im driving, i notice how much fun the road is to drive (route 26 between state college and juniata for PA people) with great uphill and downhill straight aways and crazy winding curves, so i start to push it some more. The car responds with "more!", so i push it even farther. MANNNNN what a DIFFERENCE a good suspension/tire/wheel combo make in a driving experience ! Had i known it would affect my CL that much, i would have bought it as my first mod on my last CL! It was hugging and gripping the road so well that I felt like i was in a videogame ! I never felt at any point that i wasnt in control of the car no matter the speed i took through the turns or on straightaways. That was the most fun driving that ive had in a long long time. Just thought id share my early morning delight with you guys

Glad to hear you're enjoying the new CL infamous, I too am amazed after dumping 2 grand plus into my suspension, what a difference it made. Granted it's a little too bouncy and stiff for the roads around here, but turns and corners, wow, no comparison. I bet the sportlines/tokicos feel real good There are def some fun roads to drive around here with a well handling car.

 

yea the front 2 seats and the rear... no panels cuz i threw out the old ones...

yeah im gonna slap em on soon, hopefully before winter so i can adjust them accordingly once the snow comes

sways go under the car and strut braces are under the hood and in the trunk right? what are the best companies for that, cuz if handling can get better than this id def love to try it haha

 

Sways come individual or in sets, I got a set of suspension techniques for about $300, and they're sick. The other beefy set is tanabes. Strut bars, there's a million different companies.

 

I don't know what's good for the 1st gen really, I guess Tanabe. I'm doing all Comptech on mine sways and strut tower bar.

 

I feel you man. I'm whipin around corners like nothin. I'm only on my SS-P's with no other susp. modds. Softest settings too. The harder I set them the more confident I get.
