So my CV boots are all torn, I decided to change the entire axles. BTW my axles are not clicking. But I am gonna swap them anyways.

I did not see much discussion on what brands to go for or the re-manufactured ones (if I find them). I have mixed feelings about autozone since I read that they are bad sometimes.

All experts; Please share your experience with the brands you have been using. I have had this car for about 7 months now, hence the inexperience. It has 154K on it.

I bout a set of GSP axles from advance last weekend, They come with a lifetime warranty, the main reason I bought them.

 

checkers(Kragen) or autozone come with lifetime warranty. I got a bad one from autozone once, but they exchanged it.

 

That, and the fact that you got them for $80 bucks for the pair didnt have anything to do with it at all right? haha

My cheapo ($42 a side!) axles i bought lasted me a year.. BUT then again my car's lowered and i live in Los Angeles.. they only gave me a 1 year warranty those asses..

 

i paid $56 at advanced vato zone for one with lifetime warrenty.
just go with some place with lifetime warrenty, it'll be worth it when it wears out in 2-3yrs
