I raced at a small autcross this weekend, there were 51 drivers in about 40 cars. There were 5 or 6 open wheel race cars, 3 go karts, A lotus esprit-i asked him how well it did and he said it was the first time he had ever raced, and the first time racing the car.

Any way the CL faired pretty well, I run in the STS class. the only other car in my class was a BMW 325. My first run with a passenger neted a 52.3 so i dropped the passeneger on my next the runs, i went 50.8, 50.3, and 50.1. I just couldnt get below 50, my tires just wouldnt allow it. I melted the hell out of my kumhos, new tires are in order in the next few months. I beat a 2wd TT, mini cooperS, i beat the 325 on half of his times.

The next mods are now sticky rubber and sway bars.

You can get some good autoX tires for around $60 each. The make a big difference.

What tires would you recommend i have humho supra 712's on there now

 

Where the hell was this at and why wasn't I informed. If it happens again let me know Ill be there for some competition, Ill be out here in Iowa for the summer session.
