auto-off headlights for accords??

My friend has a 2000 accord sedan, and he has the feature where you leave the headlights on, and after about 30 seconds or so, they fade off. They turn back on when you unlock the car too, any way to make the first gen cl do this? can it be done for a cheap price?

That would be pretty cool to do. Won't ever have to worry about turning on the lights or leaving them on. Anyone know?

Perhaps a sensor or a timer of some sort?

On my old nissan, when I had the Viper 550ESP alarm/remote start installed.... I wanted to hook up the daylight running lights, so that I would know when the car is started.

So I ordered the daylight running light module from a site that I can't remember.
Sorry. I remember it was $20 or $30 for the module.

But then again, with this daylight running light module... you do not have the option of turning off the light. I got pretty tired of having the lights on everytime the car was on.

I always leave my lights on. Daytime or night, the first thing I do after putting on my seatbelt is turn on the lights.
